The nineties were characterised by the large number of new truck models introduced by the various European manufacturers. The Scandinavian transport companies were quick to adapt, and the new trucks appeared in their usually attractive liveries. Besides the many truck news, there is also the development of the European transport market with the rapid rise of both the Eastern European transport companies and the rapidly growing group of self-employed drivers. A large number of the companies presented in this book no longer exist.
